Friday: Alpine Strawberry Flowers
Mostly cloudy today, no wind and by late afternoon temperature was around 12°C, very pleasant.
MrD went off to buy groceries this morning and I did a little bit of family history for The Menai Bridge Ship Builders, they’re buried on Church Island but originated in Llanbadrig, trying to go further back ...
Afternoon, did a little bit of potting on: chard, spicy salad leaves, wild rocket.
Moved all the pots of flower seedlings outdoors to harden them off, also the perpetual spinach and mustard “green in the snow”.
Beetroot seedlings started off in cells (as an experiment) have germinated well and moved them into my netted staging outdoors.
The alpine strawberries are full of flowers, I’m sure they’re very early this year!!
Friday night has come around very quickly!
Happy Weekend everyone x
