Cycling to My Son
My Son is a complex of temples built by the Cham people,. It dates back hundreds of years, and i's similar in style to Angkor Wat, but has been badly damaged by the war. It's a Unesco World Heritage site and curiously the Italians seem to be helping to fund rebuilding some of the damaged temples.
We decide to cycle there with the help of a local guide, Thinh. It's a 45km ride through rice fields and villages and the journey turns out to be just as much as an experience as the destination.
