HoHoHo to BooHooHoo

It was Miss A's Christmas get-together with pre-school friends today. We took a trip to Ratho Climbing Centre to visit Santa with Eva, Liam and Ingrid and the kids were high as kites on arrival. Elves, Santa's sleigh, Rudolph face painting and making reindeer food - not forgetting the Big Man himself - it had it all really! This was Miss A's third visit to Santa's grotto this year so she was the seasoned professional of the group and sat next to Santa, happy to chat away to him and telling him how many sleeps to go 'til Christmas. We then spent three hours at Rocktots, the kids playing brilliantly and the mums getting a good old catch up.

Miss A and Little D spent some time at our neighbours later in the day which they loved. When they got home we spotted ET on the tv so sat down to watch the last half hour of it, explaining that mummy and daddy watched this when they were little. Little D was nonplussed but Miss A found the whole thing extremely sad and was crying her eyes out. Rob and I were a bit teary eyed too - I forgot what a great film it is!
