Barra ferry terminal

The day before we'd cycled north from Castlebay to a campsite into a northerly wind and found a haven - a campsite with an indoor space which included a tv with DVD and a copy of the film 'Whisky Galore'. This kept us all happy for the wet afternoon until we could crawl into the tent.

Today, was very wet and still northerly winds as we cycled back to the ferry terminal.... The Barra airport cafe kept us amused with Andy Murray losing some sort of tennis final on the telly and plentiful cups of hot chocolate as our cycling gear steamed on the radiators... This shot is at the ferry terminal waiting for the boat back to Eriskay. A great little adventure on four sets of two wheels and still only the middle of the first week of a three week holiday!
