Electric Light Orchestra - Everyone's Born To Die (recorded 1-3 April 1973, AIR Studios, London)
I was playing ELO's On The Third Day CD on this afternoon. This song was not included on the album at the time (Jeff Lynne later recorded it for a solo album) but it was a bonus track on a remastered re-issue in 2006.
Marc Bolan was recording in the next door studio and attended some of the sessions. He played lead guitar alongside Jeff Lynne on a couple of tracks including Ma-Ma-Ma Belle and this one, but in those days artists on different labels weren't allowed to be credited so it was rumoured but not known at the time.
