Good Days, Bad Days and Good Lights , Bad Lights

Not a good day today, more of a bad day so far, just like the unlit bad fairy lights laid out on my floor (finally going on my tree!).

A vomiting eldest son first thing. I didn't feel well myself and took the day off work. A casual message left on the answerphone from the school for my other son about the Awards/Presentation ceremony tonight telling us 'a clerical error' had been made. They said he will no longer be getting the prize of a quite a few hundred pounds a year bursary whilst he's at university, that they'd told him he'd won a month ago, due to him being on a gap year! How cruel is that?!

Things can only get better (now I've got that awful song in my head!)
