Green bird and sunset
Caught up on some sleep with a later than usual rising this morning. Following which, we came north to see S' mother, and relax at the beach. Late in the afternoon, shortly after the tide had started to come back in, I went down to the Southend of Snells Beach. There were plenty of birds to be seen and photographed. I was happiest with one of a Poaka (Pied stilt), and have put it up as an extra.
Later this evening S' cousin L and his wife G came for dinner, and a catchup talk. A relaxing and pleasant time.
As the sun was approaching the horizon, I could see it glinting off the green and blue glass birds on the sill of the small window above the window seat. I did do a bit of work on the image in Photos, and the end result is close to what the human eye saw.
