Holiday knitting

When we went away I took this shawl to knit.  I'd done a few rows of it before we left, and had have done a few more since we came back, but the bulk of it was done, sitting in the sun in Madeira, mainly when it was too bright to read from the Kindle, or in the evenings with a glass of something!

It is very fine Merino sock wool and it feels lovely, soft and very light. I'm glad it's finished though, it was tricky keeping it away from Lottie's claws and teeth!!  Far too delicate for the likes of her!
