Pastels de nata

or Portuguese custard tarts from Lidl. ;) 

The first time I tasted these was in St Nicholas market in Bristol.
Made fresh on the Portuguese stall.Yummy.
I never saw them in Portugal but the plate is from there.;) 

My Mam baked custard tarts religiously every Sunday. Grated nutmeg from a whole one. No cheating for me Mam with ground stuff :)
