Goldfinches

SATURDAY

I ran the Parkrun at Brighouse this morning and managed a time of 24:18. The start was rather congested due to an influx of runners from Oakwell Hall where the Parkrun had been cancelled.

On returning from the run I set to work on the rear lawn which was in need of scarifying and mowing. I removed a colossal amount of moss and thatch. 

I took this shot of the two greenfinches during a gardening tea-break. They are regular visitors and are getting through quite an amount of niger seed

Off to the cinema tonight to see a private screening, hosted by the director Simon Cox, of the soon to be released SciFi movie Kaleidoscope Man .
