New life

I spent several hours in the garden today removing lots of weeds, planting tomato and cosmos seeds and examining new life on my plants. Last year I thought I had lost a clematis called Princess Diana but it has sprung to life again and this is a shot of one of my acers which is just coming into leaf, an exciting time in the garden. I thought the blue tits wouldn’t nest in our box this year as the bottom of it had fallen off while we were away. They don’t seem to be put off because it was quickly mended and they have been popping in and out.
