Hibiscus.
This plant arrived by mail, carefully pa are ateckaged in a shaped plastic container. The leaves appeared to have collected some soil particles en route, so I left it overnight for the soil particles to dry out . Next day I took an artist's paint brush and gently brushed off some of the soil..... When the little black bits started to walk , I knew that it was an insect of some kind .
With the aid of a 20X hand lens and my "Guide to British Insects" I found that they were ate Apteragota,. meaning wingless insects and these
