Candy Man

LM played the part of Candy Man in his school production of Willie Wonka. Wille was played by a young lady named Sophia (on the right). LM is blessed with a phenomenal drama/music teacher, who, every spring, coordinates a production of a different musical with the middle school students. All students participate: majority acts/sings, but a few also choose to coordinate the technical aspects of the production, including sound and light engineering. Students participate in making of the set, perform all set changes during the play, and have some input into their plot/dialogue/acting. The prep lasts 3 months. Students perform a total of 4 times, two of which are nighttime ticketed performances, others are open to the community and free of charge during the day.

Jules was ecstatic to have his voice teacher come to Thursday's performance, and Paw-Paw and Nona attend the performance on Friday.
