Polished
Once more a wander around Begur looking for details. There's a lot of impressive door furniture; this doorhandle must be at least a century old. I like the way it's polished from decades of use.
Verdict on yesterday's mince pies: they've all been eaten :) I like to make them with a frangipane topping, instead of a pastry lid. It's lighter, and I like the almond flavour with the mincemeat. So more of those are on the cards for Christmas.
