this morning was particularly foggy and extremely cold but i saw potential in the sky and headed out.this was not the picture i was after today,in fact that shot was facing the opposite direction onto the sea but i felt a "turneresque/constable " moment when i saw the sheep on the hill.i made my way up to a barb wire fence and watched as the sun slowly burned through the mist and fog and i snapped 6 images. i am using my fuji x100 a lot lately so i am limited to the single lens which i can honestly say has made me re think the way i take photographs.if i had a nikon today i would probably have flattened the image by dropping the foreground with a 70-200 lens and then the livestock would be more dominant. that was not an option and i like what i got as it looks great full frame on my 27 in iMac. only downside i fell over onto the fence following this and the barb wire ripped through my coat just by my heart but thankfully i was able to avoid serious injury.the joys of image making
