Happiness is.....

.... a comfy bed beside a warm fire in the Wood Stove on a chilly, wet autumn day. We had rain overnight and the day dawned mostly cloudy with showers from time to time. Family friends called in during the afternoon and took Maisie the Labradoodle for a long outing. They drove to Rarangi on the coast where Maisie loved running on the beach. Son Duncan arrived this evening from Havelock. Daylight saving finished at 3.am this morning.... so the evening darkened up sooner than we have been used to.
