Behind A Thin Veil

Four years ago today I lay in bed beside my mom, holding her hand as she took her last breath here on this earth, and the first in the presence of her Lord, victoriously ending her courageous 15 year battle with cancer. Some days it feels as though these four years have been a lifetime without her, and others only a moment... But each day I still miss her greatly and love her oh so much! On one of the hard days that comes along with grief recently a dear friend reminded me that "she is just behind the veil waiting on you..." What a great truth and promise that I cling to this day! My sweet momma does live on, just behind a thin veil...
