A NEW FIND....

... we had a wonderful afternoon with long time friends and all afternoon enjoying the A1 weather, we could hear the screech of lorikeets around the local trees.
My Blip vibes got the best of me and took to the camera to check out what was doing.
Found the galah in extra sitting on a neighbours TV arial enjoying the late sun, then noticed some movement in the gum trees.

Problem was the noise was well into the tree canopy, but then this guy caught my eye. Although not the best of shot as it was pretty shaded where it was from the late bright setting sun, but found a "first"!

My "diagnosis" a male musk lorikeet ID thanks to the ole WIKI.

Although fairly spread around SE Australia have never found one before, so here we are, good or bad it is registered!  lol
