Junctions of Maryport

I have taken some more junctions, the top one Senhouse street/High street shows the old cinema which has been a bingo hall, pottery, market and is now empty and up for sale. The high street is the oldest street in Maryport and was used by Roman Soldiers to march from their fort to Castle Hill, where they had a lookout overlooking their harbour which at that time was at the bottom of Castle Hill. The local name for Castle Hill is Moat Hill.

The lower image is the junction of Senhouse street and Curzon street (A596) and shows one of the three chemists we have in Maryport.
