Discovery Bay

Woke up early to get to church for 10am. Discovery Bay, where SweetArt lives, is a low pollution development and cars are not allowed, so everyone uses public transport. (I find public transport a real challenge).

We had a really good service followed by lunch at the Plaza. It was warm and humid with the occasional breeze. On the way back, we popped into the supermarket to get a few things. Prices here are definitely crazy. Ridiculous even. Glad I brought my own evaporated milk!

I actually had a nap in the afternoon. I really needed it. We went down to the beach in the late afternoon. It's something that Sandy and Martin usually do on a Sunday. It was still a bit warm and humid but there was more of a breeze this time. You can just about see Disneyland HK on the left.

PS. I've just been told by Blipfoto that this is my 2,555th Blip which makes it seven years of blipping! I had in mind to do something special but might have missed the chance! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who still follows me and comments and leaves stars and hearts. I am so sorry I haven't been able to get to journals.
