Bluebells.

We lunched with neighbours today, as our closest neighbours celebrated their Diamond Wedding. This was the third of their parties, they are really marking the occasion. It was good to get to know some of the newer people in the road, but our hosts have been here for forty-nine years, almost as long as us.
In our garden the Spanish bluebells are already in flower, joined by a fritillary which appeared from nowhere, I'm sure I didn't plant it!
