I've just spent a few days in Gdansk, Poland. It's a lovely city which has the Old Town where there are lots of Hanseatic buildings and  a river going through it. I was surprised to find that the Old Town was not as big as I thought it was as everytime I went I ended up taking lots of different roads to get back to my apartment. It took till the Friday when I discovered the quickest route down to the river!
