Old nest box

This rather battered box has housed several families of great tits.  It's been in the garage over the winter, but today I put it up in the pine tree, which is where it was first hung when it was new. Last year the birds preferred this box to the nice new ones. Now that the new ones have been slept in and fought over, it will be interesting to see if the old box is still the favourite.
