Bearsted’s Market on the Green

This morning’s walk too in the Market in the Green which has just started again after several months absence.

Not so much of a farmers market more and artisans market with a whole range of goods, edible or otherwise, on offer.

I can’t resist bread of any description and was tempted by a loaf of olive bread. Expensive bud worth it. Was particularly taken by a huge rye sourdough which was £8 for a huge loaf or £4 for half on it. We also bought a pack of ‘real’ sausages.

After lunch I went to the allotment to sow some seeds, although the weather wasn’t conducive to sowing being dull, cold and drizzly. Sowed parsnips, beetroot, carrots, spring onions and radish. Lots more still to do as there always is on the allotment.

Don’t forget MonoMonday to tomorrow: Making a Noise MM272.
