London Hat Week

Did you know that it was London Hat Week?  No, nor did I.  But on our walk back from the excellent open air "Travel Photographer of the Year" exhibition by City Hall in London, we came across a procession (well, a fairly large group of people walking in a fairly disorderly fashion towards Tower Bridge) wearing a variety of hats, some quite ordinary and some quite outrageous.  There was definitely  red theme to the day, with many wearing bright red hats, red scarves, red bags, red boots, or red tights.  I was not surprised to find that they did not mind being photographed, and would even stop to help me get a shot.

This particular individual was a bit more unconventional than most.
