After lunch we headed for Kegon Falls, taking approximately 40 minutes by bus from the centre of Nikko.

Captured this sign at the observation deck. From the message shown by the original Japanese sentence, 'Watch Your Step' would be good as well.

The main falls the height of which is about 97 metres are well known (they're even taken up in an English textbook for junior high school students in Japan); however the volume of falling water seemed smaller than we saw on the internet, which was a bit disappointing. Also I've known greater waterfalls elsewhere in Japan. Still it was nice to extend our journey to the mountainous area.
