A pre-breakfast trip to the recycling site while the roads were quiet. A plan that almost backfired. I mentioned yesterday the filming for Peter Rabbit 2 ....... well, Ambleside has a one way system and my route home had a queue of traffic and road signs saying 'Please be patient, filming in progress'. Suddenly I realised there was a way around to avoid the wait so  was soon home for my bacon butties. Local knowledge was useful. 

A dull morning but much improved weather for a walk in the afternoon. This tree near the garden centre looked lovely against the blue sky.
