Striking

Making a Noise is tryfan46's suggested theme for today's Mono Monday challenge.  Visitors often remark on the noise when my clock strikes but I'm so used to the sound I don't hear it. The clock is well over a hundred and belonged to my grandparents who died long before I was born.  It was hidden away in a wardrobe for years until I found it and had it restored.  I'm very fond of it.
