Crossing the Meadows
An appointment at the dentist this morning meant a trip over to Marchmont.
The rising mist in the Meadows was atmospheric, although attempts to effectively capture it were somewhat thwarted by my tardiness (rather misjudged just how long it takes to cross town, uphill, on foot, again!)
Then from one of my lesser enjoyed places, to somewhere I love - The National Museum - for a little bit of pre-Christmas zen-like tranquility in the Look East Gallery, before heading up to the Roof Terrace, where I took this shot of the castle bathed in the glow of the winter sun.
