My mother and I travelled to the Alps via Eurostar's overnight "snow train". It doesn't whizz the whole way so that it doesn't get in too early, but this was taken at 6:15 as we waited for a bus up to La Plagne.
We had a slow day (my photographs were mostly taken on foot in Belle Plagne), although we got our first few runs in in the afternoon.
