Manchester has quite a nice airport. Very civilised compared to the likes of Gatwick.

Stopped at a hotel in the area the night before, dropped car off and in and through to departures in relatively no time.

American immigration, well that's another story. 1 1/2 hour wait in the queue. No rush gents...
