Plastics

This time it was Bert's turn to map out a cycle route. He has succeeded in coming up with one in which I was not going to grumble at the end because of the big climb, which he often adds.
For a while, we followed the river Maas, which is always good for a smooth ride.

Once north of Maastricht, cycling along the Maas, I was astonished to see a lot of trash in the trees that are on the side. Mainly plastics. The water has been high a few weeks ago and this has definitely brought out very well how much plastic is floating around in the river.
