A much-needed tonic...

A lovely afternoon spent catching up with my book group friends at a local cafe. The hot chocolate was good, as was the cake, and the book. Only a short read, but our latest choice was an interesting book, “Ghachar Ghochar” by Indian author Vivek Shanbhag. We all enjoyed the book but wouldn’t necessarily recommend it (I know that doesn’t make much sense). After all the recent drama, the afternoon was just the tonic that I needed...
