The sun did eventually appear at the end of the day but the wind chill was still making its presence felt throughout the day.

A good catch up coffee with a former colleague from my Edinburgh teaching days.

Lunch from Social Bite (plus a hot meal for a needy stranger later in the day) followed by a three hour afternoon voluntary shift.
