Plainfield Rail Trail ....

Today was absolutely gorgeous so we simply had to get up to the Plainfield Rail Trail to check on the chipmunks! We hadn't been up there since before our holiday. 

We didn't see any where we park the car but still put down some food .... if nothing else the silly cardinal will enjoy it!  Then we left some more nuts and seeds in the original spot and started our walk up the trail.  As soon as we started walking I saw something out of the corner of my eye .... it was this adorable chippy running as fast as he could to our nuts and seeds!  It's as if he knew it was us and that we left the food down for him!  So cute and heartwarming!

The rest of the day was spent at home doing yard work and stuff like that.
