Monday: Cullercoats

More family frolics today. We decamped to my uncle's on the coast for fish and chips which was firmly on our food wish list for this visit. There were 12 of us altogether so it was a bit of squash round the table.

From there we decamped to Cullercoats, where the Crescent Club, in addition to great views, has the cheapest pints around.

We had a great laugh. This gentleman wasn't part of our group but I hope we didn't disturb him - we weren't rowdy but it's hard for 12 people to have a good time too quietly. Everyone around us seemed more indulgent and amused, than irritated.....luckily.
