Ludlow, Shropshire
Today we experienced snow, sleet, rain, hail and thunder. I had on three hoods at one point and a hat!
In the morning, we visited Church Stretton, a lovely small town with lots of charming shops. We were on a quest to find the "best pork pie ever" as Eubers had once been on a field trip here in the 80s and claimed to have eaten the best pork pie from here. We found a butcher and were not disappointed with our purchase!
If you are ever visiting Church Stretton, I can recommend lunch in Jemina's. It's a coffee shop where you feel you are sitting in someone's front room. You you get a very warm welcome and dogs can go in too, although ours were too wet and we opted for leaving them in the car!
We then tootled down to Ludlow for a quick look around - that's when we heard the thunder. It's an interesting place which would be worth visiting again.
