Puppy Alarm!!!

We slept long and got up around 10 am.
While I had coffee and tried to wake up, Neil went to Leek to gat some missing things for our Christmas Present distribution that was planned for Lunchtime.
Since we have not been here for Christmas, we still had the presents for the family.

When he came back Fiona had arrived with her 11 weeks old Golden Retriever Puppy Daisy.
Fiona breeds white retrievers and unfortunately the bitch died and the 4 puppies needed to be bottle fed. 
Daisy is the one she will keep, the boys have gone to their new owners last week.

We had a lot fun with her, trying to make her tired for when we were going for lunch with the whole family.

At 1 pm we went to the Tearooms for Lunch. I had the most amazing ham and cheese omelette and also tried a cheesy Staffordshire Oatcake, which was very tasty too, but filling!
We went back to the farm after Lunch and chatted, distributed presents, looked after the sickly lambs and got finally on the road after 5 pm.

We had our usual stop at Tebay for some Farm shop browsing and a coffee and were home just before 11pm. Shattered!

Neil was immediately in bed, I stayed up a bit longer with my obligatory late night herbal tea.
