This fine fellow was doing a good job this morning demolishing this slug he'd emerged from the undergrowth with.

I swam this morning. Stopping and chatting to pals who waved at me from a cafe in my effort to be more sociable. I clearly noticed yesterday having spent a couple of hours with Bernd and Jochen that I wanted more. I've asked to go and spend a W/E with them before they go off to Portugal. I was to go this year but I dipped out : couldn't face 2 weeks on my own with them.
