You Can't Beat a bit of Ruff and a Bullrush
M met me at Cley Marshes this evening and we had a chilly but sunny wander through the marshes to the beach with binoculars (and my camera of course). I did manage to get photos of a marsh harrier and two lapwings trying to see off a lesser black-backed gull, who was posing a threat, but the photos weren't quite sharp enough.
So, instead I've posted a bullrush amongst the reeds in the beautiful evening light and a ruff who was posing nicely at the waters edge, showing off striking wing markings and his yellow legs.
