Orange tulip

The first orange tulip, against a background of euphorbia flowers. Although this one is opening, the others of this variety are still in tight bud. As always seems to be the case with garden tulips, fewer survive each year, so this autumn no doubt we'll be replenishing the stock, although it might get tricky if we want to change the colour scheme. Still, sometimes gardening throws up some happy accidents that you couldn't have planned.
