1627. Oyster Catchers

We drove over to Fort George this morning to go and see my youngest son’s great grandfather’s medals as they’re on display in the museum there. Whilst we were there we wandered along to the beach as someone told us there was a female and young juvenile dolphin there but we didn’t see them. I spotted these oyster catchers taking off from the beach and I’m so pleased with this shot of them “on the wing “.
Carried on to Elgin for lunch and even stopped outside my old house in New Elgin...can’t believe it’s been 15 years since I lived here....
