Pillar box and tulip corner
This Royal Mail pillar box which situated near where I live, is inscribed with the Royal Cypher of King Edward VII, affectionately known as Bertie.
He ruled from 1901 to 1910 so we can date the structure to within this period.
Our flat in a converted house dates from about 1905 so ties in with the development of the area.
PS. The brick structure in the background is a substation of some type, not my palace.
