I went looking for birds at South Gare
... and eventually found them snuggled down in the sunshine by the boating pool in Redcar. We’d been for a cup of tea at the Tuned In cafe which we often use if we are in this part of Redcar (it also has a loo). I needed binoculars to work out what the birds were. I could see a few starlings (which flew off) and I expected the other birds to be pigeons, so got quite a surprise when I saw Redshanks snuggled up with Turnstones. We photographed the usual South Gare/ Paddy’s Hole things and I couldn’t decide what to share.
