Curled . . .
Visited Dyrham Park (NT) today - in the mizzle. Weather was disappointing to say the least. First time I've ever been here and would love to return in better weather. The house is being repaired and the gardens were lovely. The park has fallow deer etc and looks wonderful though friend Trish and self did not wander much due to the inclement weather.
We did enjoy the formal gardens - this plant which I think is a comfrey, was flowering in abundance..... great ground cover! Tulips and daffodils in profusion and there were several wonderful fritillaries and cowslips in the meadows. A wonderful sight.
