St Peter's, Chillingham
After MrM's guitar pupil had left this evening, he drove us to Chillingham (famous for its white cattle) for a walk but, unfortunately, the permissive footpath was closed. So we thought we'd have a look round the church but that, too, was closed. Never mind, we wandered round the grassy churchyard, and it was worth going just to listen to the amazing bird song.
On the way back to Wooler stopped by Bewick Bridge for a short walk by the river. Otter paw prints on the river bank at one point.
Glorious sunset (extra) over the Cheviot Hills as we drove home.
