Never understood why an insipid boring paint colour is named after a beautiful flower like this. Taken in Saltaire on my way back from the post office.

Been out for a drink with mr H this evening. I’ve had more this evening than I usually do and think I may regret it in the morning. At this moment though I feel more relaxed than I have in months.

We’ve toasted our dear friend Tim who would have been 57 today. he’d be laughing at me now and calling me a lightweight! He wouldn’t be wrong!
