First White

A male green-veined white -Pieris napi

This is the first 'white' that I have seen this year.  In fact, I think this is the earliest I have ever seen a gvw.  (Just checked - it is 11 days earlier than before.)

In fact it was a good day for butterflies as I also saw two peacocks (one in 'extra') and a comma (it didn't stop to be blipped).

I may re-visit the site soon if we get another warm day.
