Rust flowers

I had this knife with me when I was training in a national park back in summer of 2006. I forgot it at a slash-and-burn site and after a rain rust created these interesting shapes in the blade. Now it's more decorative but less effective.

This is the first blip pic that I have edited in any way. I changed the brightness and contrast, because I was quite unhappy with the over-exposured original. It's not perfect since I haven't done that before but at least a bit better, imo. Perhaps I'll try it more in the future.
