Something to be happy about...

Dear Diary,

We got another two inches of snow yesterday and it looks like January out there this morning, not April, but I will not dwell on it.  Instead, I am celebrating the return of my sweet little Redpoll!  This is the female, the male having a red patch on his chest.  She seemed very thrilled with the bowl of seeds...not so much the snow.  I'm with you there, little one.  Melt, darn it, MELT!
